Everybody Loves Raymund

Spyder React 3S00 PZ

This is exactly what I need: shades with prescription lenses. Since I became nearsighted, I had to wear contact lenses in order to be able to use Oakley or any other brand of sunglass. Prescription lenses have to be custom-made and ordered from the manufacturer. And if your grade changes (or if you’re eyesight is corrected) the custom lenses will just go to waste.

On the other hand, the Spyder React 3S00 PZ is a reasonably priced glasses that comes with a clip on prescription lens frame. At Php 1500 for the frame and P1400 for the polycarbonate prescription glasses you get a hassle free pair of shades. But wait, there’s more! It comes with a soft case, a pouch, a strap and microfiber wiping cloth.

I used these glasses in this morning’s Globe Run and I am very much satisfied with my purchase. It has a very comfortable fit. It’s lightweight and my eyes get to breath. Plus, water and moisture don’t stick on the lenses. Now I don’t have to fiddle with my eyes to put on my contacts every time I race!

  1. Ayos, Raymund. I got my air and radon too from spyder. The price spelled the difference for me.

  2. hell yeah! had it not been for the prescription lenses, it would have been very very very cheap.

i have to bring it back to the optical for a replacement though. the technician put nail polish on the frame as glue. it damaged the glass.

  5. tanong lang sir,
compatible ba yung clip-on sa ibang model ng spyder sunglasses?

  6. i’m not so sure whether the clip-on can be used with other spyder models.

best to check with the optical shop first if they sell the clip-on separately.

but i know rudy project and some other brands sell clip-ons separately. more expensive, though.
